Good wind when I first went out, wish I hadn't wasted it as it slowly dropped. On shore chatted with tony and Jason.

Nice to get some decent wind after what feel slike an eternity (1 month). Looks like its set in for the week looking at the forecast. South Easters very unseasonal this time of year but I'll take it where ever and when ever. Pretty happy with my hour and Nm considering conditions weren't great with neap tides making it pretty full and lumpy.

4929 days ago Green Island, started off windy but overcast, then some drizzle, wind kicked in proper, then the tide droped to a point where it was too nasty, we took a vote and did the long slow walk across the reef, did the waiting game and then it was on, sunny and windy.
I had a ball sailing with some of the mob and Vandoman (great guys), I was sailing like a bank jonny at first but eventually got it sorted, got my arse kicked by the the guns but very happy with a couple of PB's, especially with a no cam freeride, got to love those Loft O2's. Everything was comming together but I had to shoot, got plenty of offers to couch surf but hey, it's home made pizza night.
Carbon Art SL58, Venom 30, Loft 5.9 O2 and boardies.

Great day at the island with Bob, Cam, Toody, Al and Vando. Wind was a bit on and Off for the early session with the wind finally kicking in when the water disappeared, had a few runs out side in the rough stuff but sanity prevailed and we headed in before any more gear was trashed.
The arvo session had me very confused, as I managed to get a 36 on the dial using the Isonic 96 in the choppy stuff and was expecting to go 3Kts faster when i grabbed the speed gear and headed to the flats of the eastern run.
Still a great day and its always nice to sail in clean water with good wind and good mates.
Vmg 6.0 Isonic 96 with venom 30, then Ca 50 with Slingshot 21

4928 days ago Port Douglas, QLD, AU. A short sail with Ian from the Tablelands, at Pt D before the wind died, . About 15 kns for an hour then slowly died, shame because the readings looked much better at the Cairns airport. I think Ed was busy watching paint dry !! (painting the house).

Rico (383km):
4928 days ago I had an awesome sail and ended the day with a big smile. I did manage to do a couple down wind runs running the swell lines. I now remember what all this windsurfing stuff was about.
Port Douglas...
