Fun day sailing, had a quick blast pre-race and the set up felt great. As usual the wind dropped right as we started. Should have been on the 9.5 and 135l. Didnt plane for the first 500m after that i planed pretty much the whole time. Was a bit undedone though and some of ther legs were upwind so it was some work pointing underpowered. I finished and hung around for 10mins and then a few of us decided to sail baclk the the start. This was much nicer as the wind had filled ina bit.

4752 days ago Amigo's Shark bay, Fantastic day, almost perfect conditions, and as usual I rigged wrong, I rigged my 5.5m Gaastra Vapor and was underpowerd the whole day, The Nude 46 was sensational, and the ss23.5 perfect. Crsasher was on fire over 40 runs, with 40knots on the dial. It was so easy, almost feels unfair to get a 5x10pb that easily. I needed to have rigged bigger obviously. Wind was a true 20 to 30knots, not the bullshit 20 tyo 30 knt forecast ya get in Mandurah. Learnt heaps, need to rig bigger for the downwind runs, and maybe get a 21 slingshot after seeing what crasher did. 5 hours sailing totally knackered and a 90 minute boat trip back in horremdous seas.
edit: added the A, NM, Kms

4752 days ago Port Kennedy, WA, AU yes like Bender said the wind dropped out and I wish I'd rigged bigger. I thought this was a 42 km race. Why does my GPS say 21 km?
