4691 days ago 2 categories Another great day, flater water but slightly less wind, allowed better 10s runs, that 35 5x10 is in sight, 70km/hr not so close.
Everybody truly buggered!!! 6 days in a row top speeds all over 30kts only one of them below 33kts. 4 pbs between us, yes Peter great road trip!!!
Think I'm going to have to make a 42cm for the next trip, the 48 was just a bit too much board, especially as the bigger guys were on smaller

4691 days ago 1 categories first congrats to Decrep for another PB, conditions were not good for very long and he made the most of them and kept at it.
Brilliant #s from Captain Hardie, showed me up!
Made an error that meant I was not on the water when the run was at it's best, tried hard when I was on the water and it was awesome fun, unfortunately wind direction and tide were not playing for me when I got on the water.
the result was really some great figures which would have been 2 pbs had it not been for yesterday.
Sensational 6 days sailing, 1 on W52 and 5 on 45 speed board. Very tired now and glad to be heading home to see my family tomorrow. Hope to return some time but it is a big trip.
thanks to Hardie for the bringing the team together and Sam for finding a great spot. Just a shame you need a 4WD to get there. And that is it 1200 kms from my home. And 2500kms = laods of fuel and time.
So I had a great time.

Bit of a fun play around testing kit before the drags tomorow, realistically all the testing involved was just mooving one harness line forward and mast base back a bit.
Sailed over to Claudesville for the first time in ages, it was stonking over there, stronger wind flatter water , but do you think I could make a gybe? was fun
Couple of short runs when I got back dodging the thousands of crabbers who missed the angry little fecker which tried biting a hole through my foot.
Awesome stuff again from the boys up north, congrats to Mike for another well earned PB

4691 days ago Another magic day in PBland . Congrats to Miky for another PB yeeeeh 2 PBS was the goal. What a place.. the wind and tide does not match any forecast on the web.. this place must have a micro-climat or something. Tide 90% perfect, better that yesterday, wind was a touch less.. under powered again on the 5.0 (was using the smallest of all guys)and 5.8 woudda be too much after yesterday performance seem like the winds are not as strong like at mid-season. I need to get a 5.4, 5.5..
Had another big day today, this morning at 7am the wind was honking on the other direction, not like the day before. So I was very curious to see what it look like. Very surprised, the tide was perfect, wind round 20 so tried the run the other way. Not super speed (34-35) but very orgasmisticly flat, just awsome. Then had a rest on the sandbar, waiting for the wind to shift (round 10ish) shortly after the boys arrived, sailed to 3ish, by then everyone was on surviving mode . Very very happy for Mike and Steve been here to have a real bite of that magic spot. Mike woudda been doing a killing if he had is 44 with him . he was using the biggest board of all us!!! WELL DONE MIKE AND STEVE for you performances
Super fking stocked with my Nbs concidering been underdone, I have 1 knot less 2 sec but 1 knt faster on the 10s than yeterday. I tried to hold on longer, harder, water flatter. 5.4 is what I need. Gosh I love this place, after the boys left, I just seated there for 1h just enjoying the view, the moment. Everytime been here I loose track of time, days. no mobile since arrived (no reception). For the internet, just drive down the road to one of Telstra tower the long the road . just fantastic..
