Hit the Beaver later than usual for a weekend as I have a few projects underway at home
Wind was a bit holy at first but settled after a bit, tried the SP50 after getting the 34 but found out it was just Hueys last puff before he packed up and went home, had a great 10 minute swin out in the sound waiting for something to lift the rig, then waited about 15 at the top of the run, the run lasted less than a minute and I elected try a gybe, crashed waited 10, got pressure, did not do a broad one back to beach instead sailed accross to the corner waited then swam home

Mandurah Drags, the wind came in late so I decided Tim the Toolman was called for and went with the biggest kit I had.
Some how or other I managed to not fall over at the start and jaged some Gooduns, which had me feeling (besides surprised) pretty smug until the guys on slalom kit went breezing on by.
Still very happy with the day, fantastic turnout, whole lot of fun

4690 days ago Exploration day in SharkBay.. No wind early, then the tide has passed the best so I went chasing some new spots, one of them after 2h of bush driving nd walking trying to find an access I quite!! The second one is 30 mins of beach driving to a dead flat spot, need med to high tide and at least 20knts. It has a double run and potential for NM. I passed 2h at low tide to walk the run at knee high, to remove un-wanted objects, check depth and putting markers when waiting for wind to come and tide to rise. There was many many flat heads around, decsent size too so I name the spot "FlatHeads" was going to name it "The Double" but...
Been on my own, I did not venture too far, the run as seen is about 2k, but can strech it another 350m.. I did further every run then had enough, just wanted a feel of it. The walk to the run is 250m Not sure yet if a good spot, the wind was only 16knts and tide mid high so will to try again! Good place for Alpha I think, did not tried. Started after 17, packed up late. Had only my 5.8 with me and I was not powered..
Good fun exploring the great wild . There is no much happening here tomorrow so I am coming back home. Like Swarzy used to say " I ll be back"
