6.6 HSM GPS, Falcon 79

Awesome fun to be in the sun and on the water again in boardies, meeting new sailors and of course sailing a new spot.

Undercooked on the board selection....shoulda grabbed the 99. The usual issue of me being lazy, as well as the desire to sail the 79 cos I love it so much. Whatever!!!! It was still fun planing around on the FAlcon 79 and hooting with everyone.

Thanks Larko for the idea of the day (and selecting a killer day too of sun and wind), and thanks to Gabe and Chris for the sinage at the spot and local's advice etc. A great spot to sail and a successful day for sure. Certainly would like to hit it in a smashing NE and at low tide across that weed - would be super quick.

I am working down in Forster Mon, Tues and Weds, and will pack the gear you southern marauders, so I hope to get an arvo sail with you on Monday arvo at the sailing club perhaps if that big southerly forecast comes true.

Thanks to the southern guys for making the effort to take a trip up (James, Milsy, Mick, Larko), so good to put faces to names.

LArko tells me that I got stack of the day - nice over the handle bars right in front of him. Hope I get a trophy Larko!

Looking fwd to series 2.....maybe at Canton or Lake Illawarra.......would like to get a run at both those spots at some stage.

GO MARAUDERS

Booti Booti, NSW, AU. Great session back on water after 5 weeks off with my buggered knee. A fabulous team meet day with 20 windsurfers from Sydney, Central Coast, Marmong, Port, Maitland way and the local crew. 16 people on water at once is a record for Booti! So much fun sharing the lake with such nice folk, all having a good time in 20 - 25 knot NE. Stoked I finally got my 30 knots officially!!!!

Booti Booti, NSW, AU.  Arrived at 5pm for a quick arvo sail after work, looked windier than it actually was and heard there was a great breeze along with a great turnout through the day.  Wind was dropping when I got out, AB54, 5.5 Vapor.

Great to meet you Mick & Milsy, the 6.5's looked the right size.

Booti Booti Point, NSW, AU

Such a great day today!! Tried to pace myself. I waited a bit before heading out for the flat water with the low tide.Nice Steady NNE wind early and gradually built to about 20 to 25, with a bit more out the back. Falcon SL104 32 Select SO7, 6.5GTX, then SL 79 and Vector 27.I think I did my best speed with the SL104.

Rigged down for some B&J out the back. 4.7 Poison and Hawk 93 LTD curtis 26.5.It was honking out there !! Had some great jumps and nice runs out and back. 4 sessions all told!

Never seen Booti with so many guys and gals out there.Fantastic to meet everyone from Lake Macquarie and the Cockroaches, as well as the rest of the Marauders team. Hope you all had a ball, I did!

Big cheers to Larko for picking a top day for the first NSW GPS meet.Looking forward to meeting up next time.

Wallis Lake, NSW, AU What a great day and congrats to Larko and gabe on organising an excellent day. Super effort to Gabe and Chriss for the hospitality and preparing the very restricted area, that took alot of effort. Stoked to meet everyone and especially the Captain. Very happy to see Anton out there killing at 17 years of age keeping the sport alive. Welldone every one today, everyone was hookin and having a blast.

Wow, great day, great spot, great people and great impressive times. Standard of sailing on average was so high, you people kick arse. Speaking of kickin arse well done Chris, so fast so soon after your knee recovery, inspiring indeed. Well done in the organising of the location Gabe and others and good pickup of the weather Larko. Impressive distance MarkJ and Steve. Another tough day for me, ran out of puff way too quickly, should improve as I build up more sailing time. Amazed to see the mileage everyone did. Inspirational day indeed.
