Hardie (20239km): Sandy point, wind promised never materialised, but when some wind arrived mid-afternoon, had a ball, magic place to sail, TR-7 5.9m, Nude 46 Slingshot 21 wind about 17 to 22 with odd stronger gust
Mitch (1711km): scary sail today but my fault for not bringing my other sails but one of the most scariest sails i have ever had going down the bever Safety Bay, WA, AU 5.5 v6 neilpryde 74lt tabou manta 24 delta speed weed
Adam (7212km): The Allmighty Beaver, WA, AU Carbon Art SP50, RS Slalom MK IV 6.2, Sawn off weedy 2 in a row how good is it living next to Safety Bay. Was procrastinating at home when I felt a puff of wind come through the front door, quick check of seabreeze said it was on so raced down to SB put up the 6.2 and off I went. Tide was pretty high at first so first few runs were a bit tentative whilst I work out the angle then off I went. Called full time and went in only to find Sammy rigging so decided to go back out, did three runs faster than my previous best and had to abort what could have been the best because of a tea bagger plodding accross the freeway. Should have put Kermit my SP44 in the Ute it would have been great today. Surprised we had no visitors as well
Sammy (16210km): Quick dash at The Beaver, sweet as session.. was not going to sail today but the wind suddenly turned up and wanted to test that E2 5.5 just bought.. Was looking for something smaller that my 5.8.. this thing is even more powerful, I had trouble handeling it and was not comfortable, was setup with a 21, will have to test with a none sawn off mast 19 like suppose to. I mesure 22knts on the beach, very surprised to find that much wind! I forgot to do a 5th run on the bar why my shiit 5x10 , after the 4th I went to play in kites land it was like sandy point and call it. Nice Alpha Mitch nickname PB . Thanks Adam for the compagny and sorry for my 5x10 (what the dick I am!!!) Misty41, E2-5.5, Locky23
