It was light this morning, damned light, so thought I would take out my loverly big girl with her big FAT arse.
Ahh my big girl she does not dissapoint, step up assume the position hook in and hang on and she just goes. Very pleasant sailing out there with Pepe this morning, thoughsands of plonkers dropping furken crab nets everywhere, got to the stage where I stopped dodging and started running over the floating rope.
Got a couple of squirts which were nice to lean back into but never properly powered up.
Got of the water just before the wind faded altogether.
Now to cook a roast for dinner.

7.5m koncept, 125 rocket, 43cm weedie, Nice morning out with Yoko, good way to rid myself of a class 2 hangover. Would have liked to have an 8.5m (now where can I get one of those) , slightly underdone but pleasant nonetheless. As stated previously crab pots kept us on our toes, reckon half the boating population picked the spot that we were sailing through!!! Yoko definately had the right kit.

FINALLY!!!!! Got my 70km/hr and almost 2 years to spare.
What a fantastic day, going to remember this for a while.
Used the 43 board and 19cm woody weedy, (sister to Keefs), started with amac's old 5.0 got a 36 with that, came in for a rest, and as wind seemed to be picking up rapidly, changed to Daffy's 4.4. (Great sail Daffy, thanks a lot!!!!
Vert enjoyable out there today with lots of crew from all over, off to the pub soon to celebrate with the mob.
These figures are from the gt31 on my arm, strangely the gt11 on my back was about .1kt higher in most divisions.

JP45 speed, EvoIII 6.2 Pepe speed weed 23
fun sail in front of the distillery. tide was low (.5m) so flat water was in short supp;y. Wind also gusty and of course continued to build as I de rigged (ready for the 3 hour drive to work). because the water was low I was often having to stop to remove weed from the fin.
Really happy to see 35, 7 runs over 34 is good for me. I was being lifted ocasionally on the down wind runs, must sort out some weight soon.
Warm clean water, warm wind, good rigging area, 10 mins from home. Pretty damn good!
That makes 6 top 5 scores in 2013, Princess Royal Harbour is a great location.
A bit higher tide and the dead flat water over the weed would have been deep enough then another couple of knots + would have been easily achievable

LG - Life's Good - Another fantastic session with all the crew, soooo pleased to meet everyone so cool to be part of the event .
No glossy water still, only patch was behind the island, the run is a mixed between sharkbay and sandy point. Wasnt expecting a PB untill I saw the nbs, smashed my NM you little beauty, funny you get where you dont expect . I may b able to do better.. For Mike, it is no me sailing slower its Mike getter better and better to get used to I think, absolutly wrapped for him, GREAT backup Mike . Very happy wiz my 38, conditions not that easy, but we shld get used to it the next few days. Today was like a touch and feel day! I had 39.5 on the screen wiz the 47, thats a PB for the gear, then I went to downsized to the 41 and 5.0, thats where I mistaked, I sld have kept the 5.5!! Well as long I learn from it!! I have a sore left foot for a week now, lucky its the left coz it does not affect to much the downwinders, but upwind and alphas I have to take it easy if want to last .
The tassie boys are very very competitive on the water straight from the start, other seem like to take it easy for now, ftuning gear, testing... so exciting... the game is on and shld be some good nbs coming up.. Happy Days
