6.6m koncept, 115 rocket, 91 sx, 54 missile. 28cm weedie, 24cm weedie, Got to novara around (early enough to miss the call that said we're going to Kiters). Wondered where everyone was, but it is a weekday...Nicely powered up on the 6.6 and didn't look like I needed to change down, just the board. Happy with the 2sec on the sx, glad I got it back now.

Went with yoyo to liptons around midday, bom calling early wind, peaking around 1 or 2. Willy weather and windguru predicting later wind peaking around 5.

Wind at 1200 was closer to the Bom forecast, so went out then. Wind was very up and down, around 1330 looked like Bom was right, but another half hour later it was looking more like the other 2. Hardy joined us as the wind started to increase, by the time it peaked around 1700 I was knackered. Elmo (sorry Yoko) arrived as I came in, and by the time he got out the wind was starting to fade, but he still managed to top score.

I wanted to try the KA 5.0 again with the 48 and the 20cm woody weedy, was under powered most of the time, even though yoyo was flying around with my old 5.3 X15

Tabou Manta 54cm, NP RSR Eiii 7.0m, Elmo weed 45º 25cm, Elmo Δ weed 24cm.

Packed up work at the usual time, nut and bolted down to Hardies only to see nothing but white caps, phoned around to try and suss out where everyone was and got nothing but smug sounding answering machines, 2nd attempt at Pepe got hold of him who informed that everyone was down at Liptons.

Quickly rocked around there to see everyon of the water and in the throws of packing upYell the joys of being the only one who has a full time jobyYell was told that it was a low tide so a small fin was needed which eleimnated the Thunder so grabbed the 54 and bunged the 7 on it to get going easier.

Twas a bit of fun and it was quite shallow in the bay, got muy best runs heading out, every serious run I tried coming in ended in sailing sideways as the weedy picked up weed.

Had all sorts of boom issues with one of my boom clips slipping and a rope dropping of the apple core. But still it was a whole lot of fun hooking into a gust and letting it fly.

Huge thanks to the boys for baby sitting me whilst I sailed solo as I'm a bit LOT of a limp dick when it comes to sailing by myself, glad I had witnesses as well as I doubt anyone would believe I made as many gybes as I did, curiously my peak speeds on the alphas was on the second leg as I was pinching up wind on the first.

Whole lotta fun, would have been nice if the wind hadn't faded as much but still any day I can get ouit on the small board without swearing profusely at it is a good dayCool

G'day Tom, it's our original speed spot (Pre Hardies, Pre GTC), the bay where we finish our naughty runs on an easterly, twas very shallow, plowing with a 25cm but flat.

Stroppa, must have been a devil fish I got done with as it had faded after dinner, spewin you couldn't play as you would have been rippin it up.

Decrep, proding the locals

Pepe, great numbers dude, down haul is king

Sorry guys for not backing up the naughty, didn't think anyone had done one, probably just as well as I had no shore markers telling me where things were, couldn't see a thing sailing westerly

Good fun

Here's my NM run, actually just made the NM without gybing but unfortunately got spooked by a shallow looking sandbank and went upwind to miss it, should have kept going, as I went over it on the next short run and it was deep enough.

liptons NM mile

Here's google earth view of the entire tangled web.

tangled web.

The tangle is due to speed runs on both tacks, fatest was on port 2nd fastest starboard
